Banzai Pipeline
Surfers at the Banzai Pipeline, on the North Shore of Oahu — one of the most famous and demanding waves in surfing, breaking fast and hollow over a shallow reef close to shore. First ridden and named in 1961, it has been a proving ground for surfers ever since. The series stays with the moment of most force in each ride — the drop, the turn off the lip, the spray.
